Hand-crafted by the top Xiao flute maker in China's Hangzhou city, this instrument is made of top-quality purple bamboo and equipped with metal sliding-joint (copper), which makes it tunable to some extent and is suitable for the playing with other instruments.

On the upper end of the flute body is carved with exquisite Chinese calligraphy (the buyer can specify the content of the carving); while at the bottom end the signature of the maker can be found which is the guarantee of excellence.

At the bottom end of the flute is decorated with ox-bone.
